Jared Leto Will Play The Joker Again in Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Zack Snyder has been given the green light to proceed with the Snyder Cut of Justice League and Jared Leto will be onboard reprising his Joker role from Suicide Squad. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Leto will play his version of The Joker, who first appeared in 2016’s Suicide Squad, in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Leto will be a part of the Snyder Cut reshoots for the planned, four-episode event for HBO Max.Zack Snyder left the production of the Justice League movie before it was completed due to a personal tragedy. After a version of the film, completed by Joss Whedon, was released to middling-to-poor reviews, fans began petitioning Warner Bros. to release Snyder’s original version of the Justice League.
That request was answered earlier this year when WB announced that Zack Snyder’s Justice League would be released as an HBO Max exclusive in 2021.
Details about what will be in Zack Snyder’s Justice League have trickled out and are some times conflicting. Although originally reported that the new Justice League cut will not have reshoots with the original cast, it was later reported that Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher will return in October for reshoots.
